Christine McCarton joined the St. John's Dance Team as Head Coach in June 2002. In 2005, McCarton was also named Support Group Coordinator and currently oversees Cheerleading and the Pep Band.

McCarton comes to the Red Storm from C.W. Post-Long Island University, where she coached the Pioneer Dance team for 10 years. Prior to coaching, McCarton was the former captain of the Pioneer Dance team.

In January 2006, McCarton led the St. John's Dance Team to UDA College Nationals where they placed 12th in the country amongst Division I squads.

A resident of Bayside, New York, she earned her bachelor's degree from C.W. Post-Long Island University.

McCarton currently serves as Vice President of Chernoff Diamond & Co., a benefits consulting firm based in Garden City, Long Island.

She also is a member of the Long Island Elite (LIE) which is an organization dedicated to fostering the growth and development of Long Island’s business professionals under the age of 40, the region’s emerging business leaders.
