QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's volleyball team (33-3) leapt five spots to No. 13 in the latest CSTV/AVCA Top 25 Coaches' Poll, released on Monday. The ranking is the highest the Red Storm has earned in the program's 14-year existence, and marks the 14th straight week that the team has appeared in the national poll. The ranking came on the heels of the Red Storm's first and second round victories in the 2007 NCAA Tournament over LIU (3-0) and Delaware (3-1). With the wins, St. John's advanced to the program's first ever NCAA regional semifinal. The Red Storm will take to the court on Friday, Dec. 7, at 4:30 p.m. against the No. 5 Trojans of USC in the regional semifinals. The match will take place at the Stephen C. O'Conell Center on the campus of the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. The winner of that match will go on to play the winner of the matchup between No. 7 Florida and No. 3 Texas in the regional final match-up on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m. CSTV/AVCA Top 25 Poll
