Loudonville, N.Y. - Seniors Aleeza Miller (Los Angeles, Calif./Cal-Berkeley) and Amanda Berg (DeKalb, Ill./DeKalb) combined for 23 kills to lead the St. John's University volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep (15-2, 15-6, 15-6) over Siena College Wednesday night at the Alumni Recreation Center.

The Red Storm needed only 55 minutes to earn this victory, as they improve to 21-6 on the season. Siena fell to 11-12.

Berg hit .523 with 11 kills and no errors, while Miller hit .500 with 12 kills, three blocks and a service ace. Junior Sterie Varghese (Elmont, N.Y./Elmont Memorial) contributed six kills and five digs, while senior Olga Roudovski (Brooklyn, N.Y./Sheepshead Bay) chipped in with seven kills and a match-high 11 digs. With her seven kills, Roudovski set a new school record for kills in a single season. She now has 430 on the year, eclipsing the former record of 427 she set as a sophomore. Freshman Robyn Kurasaki (Milliani, Hawaii/Maryknoll) tallied 32 assists, giving her 1,037 on the season, the second-highest single-season assist total in school history.

The Red Storm return to Alumni Hall for the first time in two weeks on Saturday, October 28, hosting nationally-ranked Notre Dame in a BIG EAST Conference match at 2:00. The Fighting Irish are undefeated in conference play with a 6-0 record on the season. The Storm will be looking for their first win ever in the all-time series against Notre Dame.
