2002: Shannon spent much of her freshman season, acting as the team’s libero. Once she was inserted into that role, Shannon totaled double-figures in digs in 11 of the last 16 games. On the season, Shannon compiled 234 digs, placing her third on the team. Against Columbia, Shannon set a career-high with 25 digs. At Presentation H.S.: Shannon was a three-year letterwinner in volleyball. She started and captained the team during her senior campaign. In addition, Shannon earned two letters in basketball.
