Before St. John's: Missouri Sports Online named Austin one of the top volleyball players of the senior class of 2004...District and conference champions from 2001-2003...Named second team All-Conference and first team All-District in 2003...Named to the All-Tournament team at both the Lee's Summit Tournament and City of Fountains Tournament in 2003...Also was a varsity letterwinner in track and field her junior and senior seasons...Academically, Austin was a member of the National Honor Society and three-year Academic Letterwinner.
