QUEENS, N.Y. - Officials at the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) have named St. John's track & field freshman Priscilla Frederick to the All-Region team after she placed fifth at the NCAA Regional Championships in Tallahasee, Fla., last weekend.

With her fifth-place finish in the high jump at the NCAA East Regional, Frederick earned an automatic bid to the NCAA National Finals on June 11 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

The top eight finishers in each event were honored with USTFCCCA All-Region accolades.

Also earning All-Region honors at the NCAA East Regionals were Jillian Drouin of Syracuse, Viktoria Andonova of Miami, Patience Coleman of North Carolina, Becky Christensen of Harvard, Toni Aluko of Maryland, Carin Knight of Connecuticut, TyLynn Graham of Rhode Island and Anastasia Wilson and April Sinkler of Clemson.
