Austin, Texas.  The St. Johns University track & field team was represented at the 74th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin, Texas by three relays and one individual performance. The Texas Relays are one of the premier meets in the country. Over 35,000 fans attended the relays over the weekend.

Tiehise Shell (Hollis, N.Y.) ran in the seventh heat of the100m dash. In the heat, Shell placed fifth overall with a time of 11.96. Shell did not advance to the finals, only the top eight times from nine heats advanced to finals.

The womens 1600m sprint relay took fourth place in the B sectional. They women finished behind Purdue, with a time of 4:03.78.

The womens 4x100m relay placed sixth in the first heat with a time of 48.39. The mens 4x400m relay ran in heat three, where they placed fifth with a 3:16.17 mark. Neither relay advanced to the finals.

The entire Red Storm squad returns to action on April 21 when they host the SJU Track & Field Classic at DaSilva Field on the St. Johns University campus.
