West Point, N.Y.- The St. John's University track and field team competed in the second day of their 2004 Collegiate Classic on Sunday, May 9. All throwing events were held at Army's Shea Stadium this afternoon at West Point.

The Red Storm was led by junior thrower Tetee Kuyateh, who placed first in the shot put at 39'11 1/2" and second in the discus at 124'7". Blessing Egwu finished close behind Kuyateh, placing second in the shot put at 39'4". Grace Zollman finished first in the javelin at 136'11" for St. John's.

St. John's returns to action next weekend when they will travel to New Haven, Conn. for the ECAC Championships.
