May 7, 2005, Piscataway, NJ - The St. John' University women's track and field team competed at the 2005 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships today at the Bauer Track and Field Complex on the Livingston campus at Rutgers University.

Graduate student Kerrian Stewart qualified for the 400m and 200m finals tomorrow, after recording the fastest times among the other athletes this afternoon.

Blessing Egwu recorded a seventh place finish in the shot put, while Tetee Kuyateh placed eighth in the same event. Kellie Brown finished eighth in the long jump, recording a distance of 5.76m.

The track and field team returns to action tomorrow for the final day of the 2005 BIG EAST Outdoor Championships in Piscataway, NJ.
