    QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's track & field freshman Priscilla Frederick continued her successful spring with a second place finish in the high jump at the annual Penn Relays on Franklin Field in Philadelphia on Thursday.

    Frederick finished .03 meters behind the winner of the Eastern Division, Lynn Mayer of East Stroudsburg. The freshman marked a 1.70 meter jump (5 feet, 7 inches), to defeat Crystal Blamy of Keene State and Rachel Porter of Connecticut, who finished third and fourth, respectively.

    On Saturday, the squad of Tyneka Greene, Pam Petruski, Kim Piard and Sarah Sudbury finished 22nd out of 25 teams in the collegiate women's 800-meter relay with a time of 9:27.25, the team's second best time this season.

    The rest of the St. John's track & field team competed at the Yale Invitational on Sunday. Results to follow.
