Text Cambridge, Mass. - In the opening singles matches of the Harvard Omni ITA Womens Regional Tournament, senior Nataliya Kostova (Sophia, Bulgaria) defeated Ronnie Brown from Bucknell University, 6-3. 7-6 (1). Kostova advances to the round of 64, where she will face Megan Muth of William and Mary later today.

In the doubles competition, the team of Kristina Bothova (Bratislava, Slovakia) and Kostova won their opening match against a tough team from Holy Cross, 8-3, to move in to the round 32. They were then beaten by Raluca Ciochina and Sanela Kunovac of the University of Pennsylvania, 8-2.
