Jamaica, N.Y. - The St. Johns womens tennis team dropped its BIG EAST match-up, 6-1, to West Virginia University this past weekend at the Mountaineer Tennis Courts, located in Morgantown, W.Va. The loss drops the teams record to 2-3.

In singles play, sophomore Kristina Bothova (Bratislava, Slovakia) won for St. Johns out of the #3 spot, going three sets, 6-4, 1-6, 10-5.

The team returns to action on March 26, when they travel to Seton Hall for a match beginning at 2:30 p.m.
