Jamaica, N.Y.-14 St. Johns University student-athletes will be honored with the Founders Week Recognition Award, which will be presented to them on Monday, January 27 at 12:15 during the annual Founders Week mass.
The award recipients are, from the womens basketball team, junior Sherri Brown (Willingboro, N.J.), from womens tennis, senior Nataliya Kostova (Sophia, Bulgaria), from softball, senior Jessica Shepherd (Akron, Ohio), from volleyball, junior Rosalyn Dang (Honolulu, Hawaii) from football, juniors, Matthew Lucier (Salem, N.H.), and Bobby Rosenberg (Sarasota, Fla.), from swimming, senior Michael Boody (Ontario, Canada), and juniors, Melissa Kolachkovsky (Franklin Square, N.Y.), and Laura Nuudi (Tallinn, Estonia), from womens soccer, seniors, Theresa Bulman (Glenside, Pa.), and Jen Taylor (South Hempstead, N.Y.), from mens tennis, junior Jake Maxwell (Glen Cove, N.Y.) and from track and field, juniors, Jen Lebowitz (Long Beach, N.Y.), and Eric Stoddard (Hannawa, N.Y.).
The recipients of the Founders Week Recognition Award are students whose service to St. Johns exemplifies the spirit of the Vincentian Mission. They are students whose contributions to the St. Johns community illustrate the mission and values of the University.
