Fall 2007: Sat out the fall season with a leg injury.

Spring 2007: Had a 7-9 record in singles competition ... split her time between the No. 3 and 4 spots ... posted a four-match winning streak from March 22-April 2, winning each match in straight sets ... compiled a 5-5 record in doubles with two partners ... spent most of the doubles play with Maria Zivcicova at the No. 2 position, posting a 5-2 record.

Fall 2006: Compiled an 8-2 singles record ... played at the No. 4 position ... recorded her first collegiate win against Felicia Curcuru of Pennsylvania at the Columbia Invitational (Sept. 16-17) ... opened the fall season with a three-match winning streak ... produced a mid-season, team-best five-match winning streak ... advanced to the finals of the Flight B singles at the University of North Florida Invitational (Nov. 10-12) ... in doubles action, went 2-1 with Shari Dillet from the Florida Community College at Jacksonville ... the duo advanced to the semifinals of Flight B.

At D.S.V. Georgi Dimitrov: Was a four year letterwinner in tennis ... took second place in the U-14 in 2002, second at the U-16 in 2004 and second at the U-18 in 2005 ... as a senior advanced to the 2004 ITF UMA6 third round ... won the doubles bracket at the 2004 ITF championships in Skopje ... advanced to the 2003 ETA semifinals in Greece.

Personal: Daughter of Aleksandar Aleksova and Andjelka Barac ... a journalism major.

Off The Court: Aleksova chose St. John's for its academic prestige and the great tennis program. She says her most thrilling moment in her athletic career was when she won her first tournament at the age of 12. Aleksova lists fashion, art, architecture and photography as her hobbies. She says her father is the most influential person in her athletic career. Aleksova's favorite book is East of Eden and her favorite food is tortellini. Aleksova was named a 2006-07 BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
