2004: Sainz was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team...Set career-highs in all the major statistical categories...Started all 54 games, having started all 166 games in her Red Storm career...Tied for the team lead in runs batted in (42) with Jo Sherlock, also setting a new program single season record...Was third on the team with eight home runs and 32 runs scored...Tied for second on the team with 15 doubles...Also posted a .295 batting averaging and .530 slugging percentage, ranking her ninth in the conference...Walked a school-record 22 times, ranking eighth in the league...On the defensive end, she committed only four errors, while gathering 376 putouts for a .990 fielding percentage. 2003: Sainz started all 58 games for the Red Storm this season, splitting time at first base and designated player...Lead the team with 30 RBI and four triples, while finishing tied for third with five homeruns and second with eight doubles...Her four triples tied fro the BIG EAST lead...Was tied for fourth on the team with 27 runs, while ending up fifth on the team with a .261 batting average and 42 hits. 2002: Started all 54 games as a freshman, saw most action at the designated player spot and some at first base...second on the team in both doubles (11) and RBI (22)....237 batting average with 37 hits and 18 runs scored...earned 13 bases on balls...committed just three errors in 226 chances for a .987 fielding percentage...BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
