Women's Soccer's Natasha Lee Named to All-BIG EAST Second Team

Nov. 4, 2004

Storrs, CT - St. John's women's soccer foward Natasha Lee (Albuquerque, NM) was named to the All-BIG EAST Second Team. The sophomore earns the first BIG EAST honor of her career.

The honor was announced this evening by the BIG EAST at the annual Women's Soccer Championship banquet, held prior to the semifinal round of the conference tournament in Storrs, CT.

One of the most aggressive attackers in the BIG EAST, Lee led St. John's with six goals, including two game-winners this season. She opened the 2004 season in grand fashion, scoring two goals in the Red Storm's 3-2 win over Hartford.

Throughout the season, Lee caused havoc for several top defenders, launching a team-best 58 shots throughout the season. She scored both goals in St. John's 2-0 win over Binghamton and scored a goal in games against West Virginia and Monmouth.

The Red Storm qualified for their fourth-straight BIG EAST Tournament and fell to the No. 1 seeded Notre Dame, after posting a 4-6 record in regular season conference play. The team finished 10-9-1 overall.
