Princeton, N.J.The St. Johns womens golf team teed off in the first event in program history this weekend, finishing fourth out of 17 teams at the Princeton Invitational in Princeton, N.J. The Red Storm opened the first page of the programs record book, carding a two round score of 656.
St. Johns was led by freshman Christin Thomson (Ft. Francis, Ontario, Canada), who recorded the Red Storms first top-10 in school history by finishing sixth, carded a 14-over par 158. Freshman Tracey Bolger (Haddonfield, N.J.) tied for 13th place, firing an 18-over par 162, while Jennifer Rhee (Rydal, Pa.) finished tied for 30th at 24-over par 168. Jaclyn Sanders (Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada) tied for 45th place shooting a 29-over par 173 and Katie Lebel (Mooretown, Ontario, Canada) finished the scoring for the Red Storm, carding a 32-over par 176 for a 50th place finish.
The St. Johns womens golf team returns to action on October 18-19 when they travel to Piscataway, N.J. to play in the Rutgers Invitational.
