Princeton, N.J.The St. Johns womens golf team teed off in the first event in program history, playing the opening round of the Princeton Invitational this afternoon in Princeton, N.J. The Red Storm are currently fourth, carding an opening round score of 326.

St. Johns was led by freshman Christin Thomson (Ft. Francis, Ontario, Canada), who is currently tied for sixth, carding a five-over par 77. Freshman Tracey Bolger (Haddonfield, N.J.) is tied for 13th place, firing an opening round nine-over par 81, while Jennifer Rhee (Rydal, Pa.) and Jaclyn Sanders (Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada) are tied for 23rd place shooting an 11-over par 83. Freshman Katie Lebel (Mooretown, Ontario, Canada) carded a 19-over par 91 for a share of 53rd place.

The St. Johns womens golf team finishes play tomorrow at the Princeton Invitational with a final round of 18 holes.
