The St. John’s women’s golf team took eighth place at the Hoya Invitational, Tuesday, April 3. The Red Storm carded a 647 overall and were led by rookie Renee Cloutier.

Cloutier made another top-10 finish as she tied for 10th place overall. She shot a 155 (78-77) over the two round event. Fellow freshmen Michelle Romano and Ashley Szewczuk rounded out the top-30 finishers for the Red Storm as the duo tied for 27th place with a score of 161.

Freshman Samantha Tejada and junior Brittany Lambertson finished a stroke apart during the Invitational, carding a 165 and 166 respectively.

Next up for the Red Storm will be the Hartford Invitational, April 16-17.
