Princeton, N.J. - The St. John's women's golf team finished eighth at the Princeton Invitational, hosted this weekend by Princeton University at Springdale G.C. in Princeton, N.J. The Red Storm carded a two round team score of 658, 37 strokes behind team champion Princeton.
St. John's was lead by sophomore Maggie Steciuk (London, Ontario, Canada) who tied for 17th place at 18-over par 162. Junior Jaclyn Sanders (Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada) finished tied for 25, carding a 20-over par 164, while junior Christin Thomson (Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada) finished tied for 34th, shooting a 22-over par 166. Sophomores Jennifer Rhee (Rydel, Pa.) and Katie Lebel (Mooretown, Ontario, Canada) finished tied for 51st and 55th, respectively.
The women's golf team returns to the course on October 4-5 at Yale Golf Course in New Haven, Conn. for the Yale Invitational.
