West Palm Beach, FL. - The St. John's men's golf team is in fifth place after carding an opening round of 305 at the Northwood Invitational. The St. John's women's golf team is in third place after carding an opening round of 340.

St. John's Junior Ian Middleton (British Columbia, Canada) led the men's team shooting a one-over par 73.

St. John's sophomore Maggie Steciuk ( Ontario, Canada) led the women's team shooting an eigth-over par 80.

The Red Storm women's and men's golf team will return to the links tomorrow, Tuesday, March 2 for the final round of the Northwood Invitational.
