QUEENS, N.Y. - Head Coach Agnus Berenato
Opening Statement:
"I thought it was really a great game. Compliments to St. John's because they never gave up. I thought it was a physical and rough game. I'm really proud of our team because I thought that they weathered the storm. I thought we took some hard hits. I'm very happy that we are out of here with a win and with our body parts intact. We're 5-0 in the conference and we look forward to getting back home."

Marcedes Walker
On the foul calling:
"I thought that the foul calls were pretty equal. We had 17 fouls each. The referees called it even the whole game. I knew I had to stay out of foul trouble to be effective."

Shavonte Zellous
On what helps her lead the BIG EAST in scoring:
"Having Marcedes Walker in the game allows me to score."

Head Coach Kim Barnes Arico
Opening Statement:
"We were down 22 points with eight minutes to go and for us to cut it to six, it showed a lot about our team. It showed that we weren't going to quit. We had people coming off the bench to give us a spark. Our starting guard combination is really struggling at this point. I think we're settling a lot for outside jumpers and that's something we're trying to get away from. I think the people that came in, really did a tremendous job for us and it showed a lot about our team."

On Tiina Sten getting into foul trouble:
"She gives us a different dimension. We knew that it would be hard for Marcedes to defend her because we were going to take her on the outside. We did a nice job of that in the first half when Tiina knocked down some shots. She's a unique post player where she can take it inside and out. We don't really have anyone else that's at her point in terms of shooting, so that kind of hurt us when she came out of the game."

Kristin Moore
On her breakout performance:
"I got a chance to calm down and relax to play my game. I felt more comfortable out there. I just wanted to play hard any chance that I got."

Kia Wright
On St. John's recent struggles:
"We're settling for shots too much. If we move the ball around it will open things up. Tiina was on fire tonight. When we settle for shots, we won't get baskets. You can see that we didn't settle in the second half and it made a difference."
