Before St. John's: 2003 Steuben County Player of the Year...Averaged 24 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks per game at Arkport High School...Was a member of the All-Rochester First team and was named the Class D Most Valuable Player...Led Class D in scoring.... Led the Empire State Western Team to the Gold medal at the 2004 Empire State Games.
