Providence, R.I.The St. Johns mens tennis team lost a close match to Brown University, 4-3 in Providence, R.I. The Red Storms record fell to 2-5 for the spring.

After losing all three doubles matches, St. Johns needed to win four of the six singles matches to secure a victory. The Red Storm fell a couple of games shy of pulling off the come from behind victory.

Nick Stocker (Norwich, England), playing the No.3, earned a three set, 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 victory over Browns Moss. Morgan Bauer (New York, N.Y.) and Jonathan Skinner earned victories at the No. 5 and No. 6 spots, while Arnaud Agniel (Aix-en Province, France) fell two games short, dropping a close three set match, 6-7, 7-6, 6-4 at the No. 2 position.
