Jamaica, N.Y. - The St. John's men's tennis team kept their streak alive this afternoon, beating non-conference foe NYU, 7-0, for their seventh-straight win. The Red Storm improve to 9-8 overall with the win.

Louis Desmarteaux and Aurelio Di Zazzo's 8-5 win at No. 1 doubles kicked things off for St. John's. The Red Storm took the point when David Nylen and Claudio Holim walked away with an 8-5 win, and Todd Goldberg and Morgan Bauer didn't drop a game at No. 3, winning 8-0.

St. John's continued their dominance in singles play, losing only one set in all six matches. Desmarteaux once again took the No. 1 point, beating Mike Thompson 7-5, 6-2. Nylen won 6-0, 6-4 over Rich Salem at No. 2 and Morgan Bauer's 6-3, 6-1 win over Ian Corn at No. 3 clinched the match for the Red Storm.

Holim took Nico Buencamino at No. 4, while Boris Chiporukha played a tough 2-6, 6-2 (10-5) match for the point at the No. 5 spot. Goldberg closed out the match with an easy 6-0, 6-2 win over Kolby Loft at No. 6.
