Fall 2007: Posted a 4-1 singles record ... had perfect 3-0 mark at the ECAC Invitational at the No. 3 spot ... was 1-1 in the ITA Regional Championships main singles draw ... posted a 2-1 doubles record with partner Pavel Cerny at the No. 2 spot at the ECAC Invitational.

Spring 2007: Finished 13-7 in singles play ... ended the season on a 10-2 run from March 2 - April 22, including seven straight wins ... saw action at the No. 3, 4, and 5 singles spots ... nine singles wins were in straight sets ... posted a 14-1 mark at No. 2 doubles with partner Louis Desmarteaux ... was 17-3 overall in doubles play with four different partners.

At Gymnazium Pierra de Coubertina: Trained at the Gymnazium Pierra de Coubertina ... also trained in basketball ... participated in several national singles and doubles tournaments ... was a two-time Slovak doubles champion while training at the Gymnazium.

Personal: Son of Stanislav and Jana Kosut ... has one sister Andrea (14) ... major is undecided.

Off The Court: Kosut says the most thrilling moment in his athletic career was when he won the Slovak Doubles Championship. The most influential person in his athletic career is his father. He chose St. John's because of its athletic and academic reputation. He was named a 2006-07 BIG EAST Academic All-Star. When he's not on the court, Kosut enjoys snowboarding, playing soccer and ice hockey.
