QUEENS, N.Y. - The Red Storm baseball program's 11th Annual Bullpen Golf Outing to benefit the baseball team will be held on Monday, July 28 at Pelham Country Club. Centrally located in the NYC Metropolitan area, Pelham Country Club is in beautiful Pelham Manor, N.Y and just off of I-95. Visit the Pelham Country Club Web site at www.pelhamcc.com. The day-long event is scheduled to commence at 10:30 a.m. with registration and brunch before a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. A 5:30 p.m. cocktail reception featuring a silent auction is slated to precede the 6:30 p.m. dinner. At 7 p.m., the program as well as a live auction will begin. "This is a major fundraiser for our program," head coach Ed Blankmeyer said. "But most importantly, it is a chance to bring all of our alumni together to share stories and talk about St. John's baseball." The "Coach Jack Kaiser Baseball Advocate Award" is presented annually at the Bullpen Golf Outing and this year's recipient is Michael Palladino. This award is the highest honor that the St. John's baseball program bestows upon an alumnus, friend, benefactor, parent, coach or fan. This individual possesses the same characteristics as Coach Kaiser: loyalty, dedication, hard work, and exceptional support of the baseball program. Rates and information regarding sponsorship opportunities can be found in the attached brochure.
