Red Storm fencing opened its season last weekend in Dallas.
 
Fencing Opened 2007-08 Season At NAC Juniors

QUEENS, N.Y. - The men's and women's fencing teams started their seasons in Dallas, Texas with strong performances at the NAC Juniors Tournament. Four members of the Red Storm competed in the tournament, which was open to collegiate juniors only on November 9 - 12.

Brenden Myers had the squad's top finish of the day as he placed 16th in men's foil. Luis Perla also competed for the men and finished 53rd in men's saber.

On the women's side, Martyna Wieczorek competed in the saber and finished 33rd. Tanya Dainoski also competed in the saber and finished 56th to round out the weekend for the Red Storm.

The Red Storm fencing teams return to action on December 1 for the Brandeis Tournament in Waltham, Mass. They will be competing against Brandeis, MIT, Brown, Boston College, and Yale.
