Amy Mulligan is in her first year with the St. John's University Office of Athletics. She serves as the primary contact for the Red Storm women's basketball and women's soccer teams.

Mulligan is responsible for writing, editing and designing media guides in addition to writing game recaps, news releases, game notes, game programs and feature stories. She also coordinates media interviews between student-athletes, coaches and staff and local and national media.

Mulligan joined the St. John's staff after serving as an assistant media relations director at the University of Maryland for two years, where she was the primary contact for the Terrapin volleyball, men's and women's track and field and softball teams. She was also the media director for the 2003 NCAA Volleyball Tournament first and second rounds and the 2005 ACC Softball Tournament, both held in College Park.

Mulligan's 2003 swimming and diving media guide won first place in its district from CoSIDA, while her 2004 volleyball media guide was second in the district.

Mulligan is a 2003 graduate of Maryland where she earned a bachelor of arts in Journalism. Prior to her work in media relations, she worked at both WRC-TV NBC 4 in Washington, D.C., and the Capital-Gazette Newspaper in Annapolis, Md.

She is a native of Annapolis, Md., and currently resides in Flushing, N.Y.
