Assistant Director, Career Advising

Michelle Marsala is in her second year as a Career Counselor for Student Athletes at St. John's. Marsala is responsible for planning and organizing career related workshops and events focused on issues such as choosing a major, internships, networking and job search skills. She also meets individually with student-athletes to help them solidify their personal career goals and develop game plans for achieving them.

Prior to coming to St. John's, Marsala was the Manager of Academic Programs & Communications for the International Radio & Television Society Foundation in New York. She was responsible for directing the annual Minority Career Workshop and Summer Fellowship Program.

Marsala holds an MS in Education in Student Development Practice in Higher Education from St. John's University, an MA in Television/Radio from Syracuse University, and a BA in Communication and Philosophy from The University of Scranton (PA).
